SW Test Engineer

Together with our healthcare client, we are involved in the development and expansion of a web service that enables online monitoring of patients with implanted pacemakers or defibrillators.

This web service receives and analyzes data from implanted devices, allowing remote monitoring by doctors, thereby improving patient care. It also includes a social network for patients and their loved ones. For the latest devices, the service allows doctors to adjust selected settings remotely, minimizing the need for physical check-ups.

What will your responsibilities be?

• Analyzing requirements.
• Discussing requirements and proposed solutions with customers and colleagues.
• Determining suitable testing approaches.
• Designing test scenarios.
• Implementing test procedures and, if necessary, developing a test framework.
• Reviewing the work of other team members.
• Analyzing and resolving issues in the testing framework.
• Reporting identified defects and test run results.

Development Environment

Currently, we use Visual Studio 2022 for development and Visual Studio Code for frontend work.
For version control, we use Git integrated with Azure DevOps, which we also use for task management.

Technologies We Use

• .NET 8, .NET Framework 4.8+, MS SQL, SpecFlow, gRPC
• Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, HELM charts, REST API, Swagger, Nginx, ISTIO, ELK
• Other technologies: Angular (11+, NGXS), Java (Spring Framework, HBase), EF Core, YAML

Requirements

Must-have:

• Knowledge of SQL, C#, REST API, and testing techniques.
• Experience with Selenium.
• Strong analytical thinking.
• Passion for assessing quality and exploring imperfections.
• Willingness to learn and focus on personal development.
• Team spirit.
• Communicative English.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Gherkin, SpecFlow.
