CertiCon has a long tradition of work in Healthcare. Our projects mainly deal with the issue of heart rhythm disorders and the prevention of heart failure. The work of our engineers thus has a broad impact (on the order of magnitude) on millions of patients worldwide. And even though the development processes in this area are quite strict, our developers and testers have mastered them to the last detail and can undoubtedly serve as an example for others.

The company’s projects in this field mainly concern the issue of communication and railway traffic control. The products we develop are used almost all over the world (Germany, Finland, UK, Switzerland, Hungary, Australia, Russia, Israel…). They alone make it possible to effectively handle demanding situations arising during the management of increasingly complex and denser railway traffic. Our development and testing teams are involved throughout the entire product development cycle – from initial customer analysis, through design, development and testing to final integration at end customers.

CertiCon has long been developing several areas of automotive engineering. We are engaged in the development of diagnostic solutions for service points and production lines. Further, we implement applications designed specifically to run on the ECUs themselves. In addition to development activities, we apply a sophisticated automated testing system and develop diagnostic routines and processes for the global automotive industry.

At Certicon, we emphasize developing our own innovative solutions that meet the standards of Industry 4.0. One such solution is the Epiqa smart planner, which we initially started as a research project and successfully took all the way through to a final commercial software product used by Europe’s largest aircraft manufacturer. In addition to the usual software development, our SW engineers and mathematicians solved graph and heuristic algorithms, used constraint programming methods and implemented a multi-agent system.

At CertiCon, we are developing our own computer vision solution, which evaluates footage from camera systems based on user-definedobjects and their behavior. Our experienced development team e mploys neural network technology and proprietary, patented designs. It might almost be said that we give the cameras a brain and teach them to serve people exactly as expected.

A company’s culture is created by its people and that is no different here. At CertiCon you will be able to interact with many young colleagues, who like to unwind by playing foosball, PlayStation, darts and go out for “a” beer together after work. But this doesn’t mean that if these activities aren’t necessarily your cup of tea, or that if you already have a lot of responsibilities in your after-work life, you will not fit in at CertiCon too.
