Information systems

For a Czech customer, we provide complete delivery of information systems in the field of excise duties. Excise duties collected using the systems we provide are one of the most significant sources of state budget revenue in the Czech Republic. We are currently looking for a new member to join our stable team in the position of .NET/C# Developer for long-term cooperation.

Job Description

The development team works in accordance with the agile SCRUM methodology and is responsible for developing all layers of the information systems (from the database, through application logic, API, and UI) including related documentation. The team also includes experienced seniors who support junior developers and help them in their early stages and subsequent growth.

What exactly will you be doing?

  • Developing new features and changes in the software based on tasks included in the sprint.

  • Proposing optimal technical solutions based on customer requirements.

  • Participating in the code review process with colleagues in the team.

  • Fixing occasional reported bugs and ensuring that new ones do not arise.

  • Actively participating in sprint planning, retrospectives, and other SCRUM meetings.

  • Proposing your own suggestions for improving the developed systems and the team’s activities.

Development Environment

The project primarily uses:

  • MS Visual Studio, MS SQL Management Studio, Sparx Enterprise Architect,

  • GIT, TeamCity, Jira, Confluence,

  • Windows Server, MS SQL Server.

Technologies Used

  • C#, .NET 8, Blazor, Javascript, T-SQL, gRPC, Web API,

  • .NET Framework, ASP.NET, MVC, WCF.

Requirements

  • Good orientation in extensive codebases.

  • Experience with development in .NET (Core), C#, MS SQL.

  • Motivation to work in a team on a long-term project and a willingness to learn new things.

  • English at least at a B2 level.
