C++ developer

At CertiCon, we have been working long-term on the development and testing of a GSM-R terminal used by railway dispatchers. Simply put, this is a telephone device with numerous specialized functions that facilitate railway traffic management. The terminals we develop are used by railway companies across Europe, Asia, and Australia.

Our role includes the design, implementation, and testing of the entire application – from communication layers (SIP, RTP, HTTP, JSON, REST, WebSockets) to audio processing and user interface development.

Job Description

This is a large and long-term project utilizing stable technologies. We are looking for a proactive team player who can help us move forward every day. We offer a stable project, an excellent team, and the opportunity to grow under the mentorship of experienced senior developers.

Your responsibilities will include:

Analyzing customer requirements and designing their technical implementation.
Proposing architectural changes to improve the overall solution.
Implementing new features, including automated tests.
Communicating with customers in English on a daily basis, both spoken and written.

Requirements

Proficiency in C++ and good understanding of code structure.
Experience in application development.
Motivation to work on a long-term project and eagerness to learn new things.
English at B2 level or higher.
Bonus skills: Experience with MFC, SIP, and German language.
