SW Test developer

We are testing a new generation of a communication system for railway traffic management in collaboration with a customer who supplies these systems worldwide.

The product is a distributed system used by railway dispatchers for telephone communication and for communication with train drivers via GSM-R technology. It also includes various additional services, such as train position tracking on a map, train information, and more.

The CertiCon team is responsible for both development and testing.

What will you be doing?

• Analyzing requirement specifications and designing test cases. All documentation and tests are written in English.
• Developing and maintaining automated tests (using Java, Groovy, Gherkin).
• Performing testing (both automated and manual), analyzing issues, and reporting defects.
• Closely collaborating with developers, system architects, and other team members.
• Contributing to estimations and planning for upcoming project cycles.

Requirements

Must-have:

• Experience in test development.
• Experience in Java programming.
• English at B2 level or higher – communication with English-speaking customers.

Nice to have:

• Experience with any of the mentioned technologies, especially Java, Groovy, Gherkin.
• Experience with Git, JAMA, JIRA.
• Knowledge of Linux, Kubernetes.
