CertiCon has a long tradition in the field of healthcare and our projects focus mainly on the issue of heart rhythm disorders and the prevention of heart failure. We are involved in the development and testing of pacemakers and defibrillators, and the work of our engineers has a relatively broad (on the order of) millions of patients worldwide.

We are currently working on a project that aims to combine 2 home monitor platforms, for patients with implantable devices, into 1 long-term and sustainable solution. The project is at an early stage when the architecture is defined, possible solutions are selected and compared.

What exactly will you do?

The main focus will be the development of the home monitor OS (Linux / Android OS). Documentation is created and revised; We are working on so-called Proof of Concept solutions.

MUST HAVE

• A valid permit to work in the EU / Czech Republic is required to have prior sending your CV.
• C, C ++ with a focus on Embedded / IoT applications.
• Embedded tools (emulators, simulators, debuggers).
• Communication protocols.
• Embedded SW Security (cryptography, authentication, encryption, secure boot).

NICE TO HAVE

• Linux / Android OS.
• Real-Time Software concepts and usage (interrupts vs background, hardware contention, task prioritization & starvation).
• RTOS & real-time Linux / Android customization.
• Architecting software running on dedicated hardware.
